Who Woulda Thunk It?!

Every once and a while, life takes an unexpected turn, and who would actually believe that that one unexpected turn could lead to so much happiness? I was thinking back to a year ago at this time. Never would I have believed that a year from then I could be where I am today. Never would I have believed that things would work out the way that they did. But I am so happy they did. I guess "Sometimes I thank God, for unanswered prayers," really does mean a lot more than just the superficial context of the words.

It's funny, everyone always told me when I stopped looking, that's when it would hit me, that's when it would come. I'd scoff, I'd laugh, I'd agree yet be in total disbelief, but it really is true. Once I just let life happen, that's when it did, and that's what I have continued doing since that day. It's amazing how things just have a way of working out. The thought(s) bring a smile to my face as I type.

So what am I really trying to say? I think I've been trying to figure that out for a while, but here's where the path is taking me tonight. I'm not apprehensive or scared for the future. I'm not worried or scared where it's going to lead, because I know it's going to take me just where I'm meant to be. Falling stars land where they're meant to...And I will say this, I know I've landed in a place where I could definitely spend forever.
